These Shells Terms supplement the Twoo Terms of Service and govern your purchase and use of the virtual currency "shells" in the Twoo app. If these Shells Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on the subject of shells, these Shells Terms control.
Shells are Twoo's in-app virtual currency. You can spend shells on virtual goods and services inside the app — such as gifts for your little octopus, decorations, and unlocking features.
Shells are a limited, revocable license, not money or property. They have no cash value outside the Service, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred to other users or accounts. Shells follow your account and can be used across your islands within the app.
Earned shells and purchased shells go into the same balance and work identically.
Purchased shells are normally credited to your account within seconds after Apple confirms the payment. If your shells have not arrived after 10 minutes, email us at support@beingbeing.ai. Your payment will not be lost — do not purchase again for the same order.
All shell purchases are billed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through its refund process (reportaproblem.apple.com); refund decisions are made by Apple under its policies, and we cannot override them.
Shells that have already been spent are not refundable. If Apple refunds a purchase, the corresponding shells — and, where applicable, items obtained with them — may be deducted from your account. If a refund causes your balance to go negative, shells you earn or purchase later will first fill that gap.
Purchases by users who are under the age of majority where they live require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians can prevent unauthorized purchases using Apple's parental-control features (such as Screen Time and Ask to Buy).
If a minor has made purchases without the required consent, the parent or guardian may: (a) request a refund from Apple through its refund process; and (b) contact us at support@beingbeing.ai — we will assist in accordance with applicable law, which may give minors or their guardians rights that these Terms do not limit.
If we detect shells obtained through fraud, exploitation of bugs, or violations of the Terms of Service, we may correct balances, revoke improperly obtained shells or items, and restrict or suspend the related account. Obvious errors (such as a mispriced package caused by a technical fault) may be corrected even after a transaction.
Unused shells are forfeited when your account is deleted and are non-refundable except where required by law or Apple's policies. If we permanently discontinue the shells feature or the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice and handle remaining paid shells as required by applicable law.
We may update these Shells Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect, and the "Last Updated" date above will be updated.
The governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms of Service (Singapore law; informal resolution followed by individual arbitration; class action waiver; opt-out right) apply to these Shells Terms.
